The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentitry is partnering with the Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), the leading high-tech university in Medan, Indonesia. McGann Postgrad has designed a cutting edge program where dentists will contribute first-hand to important growth studies. Students will work with a select team to develop the most comprehensive research project of growth development in dentistry. The Center will coordinate individual studies and research to create a rich, multi-generational database.
Medan, Indonesia
Medan is a large and diverse metropolitan city. As the capital of North Sumatra in Indonesia, it holds a population of over 2 million. Medan has been a strategic place to host the Center. Medan has the population to provide a wide range of case types, including very extreme cases that are difficult to find anywhere else. Indonesia has more Class III and other malocclusions currently absent in current studies. As a non-profit organization, the Center will also be able to help a large population of children and adolescents through its studies and services.
Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI)
We chose to partner with UNPRI because they have access to the most advanced facilities and a broad range of patient participants needed for successful studies.
Universitas Prima is a private university that just finished a beautiful new dental hospital with the latest technology, and will finish their new medical hospital in the coming months. Our center has access to both facilities, as well as access to primary schools in the area in which to take records and design our study. We will be taking records on a large number of patients over a long period of time with the aim of creating powerful records that can be studied to prove or disprove many ideas on how to best manage growing patients.
The “Royal Prima Hospital” Teaching Hospital
The hospital is 14 floors with helipad facility at the top level, 250 beds (we focus on private room with personalized care for integrated education and treatment). Most of the equipment was imported.Facilities included :

This Master’s Program is designed to allow you to experience the Center while receiving a thorough education on the latest concepts in Growth Management. This is a heavily hands-on program, and thus we are only able to accommodate 20 students per class. In order to be fair, these 20 openings will be given on a first come, first served basis.
