Affiliates & Accreditation
The Master’s degrees in the Esthetics, Orthodontics, and Implantology Programs are internationally accredited.
They are accredited according to the “Bologna Criteria” with the acceptance of the Ministry of Higher Education and the “Akkreditierungsrat.” All participating universities are eligible to award the academic degree of the Master of Science.
This is a program offered by the International Medical College (IMC) Joint Degree University Program–a cooperative of six prestigious European universities’ medical faculties, in affiliation with The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry. McGann Postgrad has no control over the program, its administration, or the topics being taught. You will be paying directly to IMC (except the initial €300 application fee), and basically you are getting credit for the McGann Postgrad work due to our relationship with the university.
The Master of Science in Specialized Orthodontics Program is designed to mimic many of the other residency programs in Orthodontics, and this is the basis for the curriculum. The Master of Science in Esthetic Dentistry & Dental Surgery is revolutionary and unique.

The State Boards of Dental Examiners (USA)—Most states approve 8 hours per day for license renewal requirements. Check with your state board.
Academy of General Dentistry—The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontics is an Approved PACE Program Provider, recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry. AGD accepts our seminars for Fellowship, Mastership and Membership Maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance or endorsement by AGD or a state or provincial board. The current term of approval extends from May 2, 1988 to May 31, 2018.
American Dental Association—The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontics is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry designates each day of seminar for 8 hours continuing education credits.
Continuing Professional Development (Australia)—8 CPD hours/points per day of seminar of clinical and / or scientific credit. The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars guarantees course is compliant with Section 4 of the DBA Guidelines on Continuing Professional Development. The Registration Standard is published on the Board’s website at www.dentalboard.gov.au.
New Zealand Dental Association—The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars is accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). NZDA course accreditation does not imply promotion or endorsement of the contents of any course. Attendees need to use professional judgment to assess the validity and usefulness of techniques, materials or therapeutic.
International College of Continuing Dental Education—The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars is accredited by ICCDE and students having completed Progressive Orthodontic Seminars are eligible to sit for the ICCDE examination and on passing will be awarded fellowship (FICCDE).

DGZI/GBOI & IMC Masters Course in Implantology IMC has collaborated with The German Board of Oral Implantology (GBOI) to provide a “Master’s of Oral Medicine in Implantology”. The training program has been developed by the German Association of Dental Implantology (DGZI) the oldest and one of the leading scientific associations for oral implantology in Europe.
